Course Description & Details
Chapter 11 of the International Residential Code contains all the requirements from the International Energy Conservation Code that apply to one- and two-family dwellings and townhouses, but within these requirements are a lot of choices for code compliance. Well that’s not what this course is about. In this on-demand course nearly all the mandatory requirements from Chapter 11 are covered; the ones that apply regardless of the compliance design option. If you’re new to energy codes, this course will cover the basics. If you’re seasoned in energy codes, this course will highlight many changes in the 2024 IRC/IECC. If you use the prescriptive, performance or ERI method in your work, this course will reveal the mandatory requirements that cannot be designed around.
