Course Description & Details
This is the first in a series of On-Demand Courses covering nearly every section of IRC Chapter 3 in detail. Means of Egress starts by spelling out the basic requirements for the path to the egress door and beyond, including the design and construction of stairways, ramps, and handrails. These features are critical for safe egress from basements and upper floors, and thus, from treads to landings and handrails to headroom, there are a lot of specifics to cover in this course. After Section 311 is finished, the course continues into every section of 310 and reveals everything about emergency escape and rescue openings.

- Discover the details that regulate the path of egress through a house.
