We will review technical energy efficiency requirements for existing residential buildings including how to address the maintenance of buildings in compliance with the code. Building additions, alterations, repairs, and changes of occupancy will be covered. We will provide example projects and scenarios to address common questions and myths about energy code compliance in existing residential buildings. This course is designed for code officials, design professionals, residential contractors, and building owners.
